Teruel Sierra Lindon Ham, with Designation of Origin Jamon de Teruel, is artisan made from carefully selected pigs.
Teruel ham, a serrano ham with PDO, was the first recognized food with a Designation of Origin in Spain, in 1984.
The Gomez family has devoted for over four decades to the development of ham, selecting them one by one and choosing the best raw material, adding very little salt and cuddling them throughout the process.
Each piece receives the necessary ripening time in strategically located in natural dryings, with no rush.
It has a minimum ripening time of 20 months.
When cut, it has a bright red color with a creamy consistency grease.
It offers a unique aroma provided by the selection of the raw material from its origin, and also by the prolonged and slow natural drying processes.
Its flavor is slightly salty, due to its low salt content.
For a proper storage, we recommend you to store it in a cool, ventilated room, away from strong odors.
