This Acorn Raised Iberico Ham is a typical product from Extremadura, made from 100% pure iberian breed pigs which are raised in the Dehesas and fattened on acorns and natural pastures during their last months of life.
Extremadura has approximately one million hectares of the best preserved Dehesas in Europe, where Iberian pigs lead a quiet life in liberty.
Thanks to this well-prevserved ecosystem, the Iberico hams and shoulder from this region are high quality products.
This Acorn Raised Iberico Ham is cured during a period of at least 36 months in natural drying rooms.
It offers an exquisit sweet flavour, and a texture that leaves a pleasant memory on your palate.
