Details
Altos de Torona, with Designation of Origin Rias Baixas, is made from three grape varieties: 85% Albarino, 10% Caino and 5% Loureira .
The vineyard has almost 250 acres and it is located on the slopes of mount Galelo (Pontevedra). Its hillside location makes the valley fog and humidity nor the cold of the mountains affect it. The suthern orientation guarantees good insulation, which favorsthe perfect ripening of the grapes.
This white wine is an elegant broth with its own personality as a result of a perfect combination of legendary Albarino musts with the White Caino and Loureira varieties.
The harvest is done manually and separately from the different grape varieties.
It is fermented in stainless steel tanks.
It offers a bright straw-yellow colour.
When tasted, it is structured, sweet and lively, with a long and persistent aftertaste.
It matches perfectly with shellfish, sushi and spicy foods.
