This white wine with Designation of Origin Penedés is made from two types of grapes: 80% Xarel.lo and 20% Chardonay.
It comes from a small and very young cellar located in the Pago de Subirats.
Blanc de Cos is fermented in new French oak barrels. After the fermentation of the grapes, it remains in contact on fine dregs for 6 months.
This typical product from Catalonia offers a straw-white color.
Its bouquet presents citrus, toasted and nutty aromas which in their union provide an elegant and persistent aroma.
In the mouth, it is a structured and unctuous wine.
It is a perfect white wine for duck roasts and poultry in general as well as for all kinds of mushrooms.
