Carramimbre Reserve 2006 is a red wine with Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero made from two grape varieties: 90% Tinta del País and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine makers have 50 hectares of production located in the town of Peñafiel, Valladolid. They take rigorous care of their lands and raw materials in order to produce wines of excellent quality.
Carramimbre Reserva is a red wine that is grown in barrels of 50% French Allier and 50% American from Missouri for 24 months. Afterwards it is bottled and rests for 1 year in order to reach its ideal maturity.
This typical product of Castilla y León offers an intense cherry red color with violet nuances, showing its maturation in barrel.
Its bouquet presents an intense aroma with toasted tones, leathers and nuts, in addition to balsamic touches.
In the mouth, it is a wine with body, good structure and tannic, but of great freshness, with a long finish.
A perfect companion to stews, red meats, lamb, sausages, besides being ready to serve after a previous decanting.
It is advisable to taste it at a temperature of 16 to 18º.
