This white wine with Designation of Origin Rias Baixas is exclusively made from 100% Albarino grape variety, from 30 years old vines.
Lagar de Costa is a family winery characterized by the commitment and dedication of three generations that has been taking care of the Albarino vines and developing top quality wines.
They have almost 15 acres of Albarino vines located in very low lands, very close to the sea, with a height of 0 to 98 ft. The soil has a sandy texture, making it a soft soil with a good penetration of water. These features, added to the climate of the area, greatly favor the perfect ripening of the grapes.
This typical product of Galicia remains for three months on French oak barrels for three months.
It has a straw-yellow colour with greenish nuances.
When smelt, it is an intense wine with acacia flower, mimosa, herbs, anise, green tea, olives, fine lees and citrus aromas.
When tasted, its freshness and creaminess with hints of candied fruit, toast and butter soft stand out.
Ii is recommended to be consumed at a temperature of 46-50 ºF.
