Details
Bodegas Leda produces great multiterroir wines from the Tempranillo variety, obtained from very old vines.
Along with Eduardo Garcia, son of the renowned winemaker Mariano Garcia, the Garcia family, co-owner of Leda along with Wineries & Vineyards of the Masaveu group, are responsible for the production of this wine.
Mas de Leda 2009 is a wine with Designation of Origin Wines Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon (Castile and Leon wines) that has to spend 15 months in 90% French and 10% American oak barrels, and then it is bottled.
It offers a bruised cherry colour.
When smelt, it is suggestive and delicate, with predominantly black fruits aromas, herbs and spicy hints.
When tasted, this red wine is fine, fresh and round, with a light texture and soft tannins.
