This red wine with Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero is made with the grape variety Tinta del País, from over 30 years old vineyards .
The bodegas of Pinna Fidelis are located in the town of Peñafiel, Valladolid. They have 225 hectares of vineyards that they strictly control to be able to elaborate wines of excellent quality.
The manolactic fermentation takes place in new American oak barrels and later it is grown in French oak barrels with a very light toasting for 12 months, to preserve the characteristics of the grape.
In the nose, it is a red wine of high intensity, with aromas of raspberry, vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, chocolate, freshly roasted coffee and ripe fruit in compote. Over time, touches of prune and violet are appreciated.
In the mouth, it is a powerful and round wine, glyceric, unctuous and with sweet tannins. Over time, it will gain finesse and aromatic complexity at the palate.
It is a wine with a high aging potential. The tannins will continue to polymerize and become stronger.
