The PradoRey Crianza 2008 Red Wine with Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero is made with three grape varieties: 95% Tinta Fina, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot.
This excellent red wine is made by selecting the best grapes from the vineyard of Valdelayegua. Due to the high proportion of calcareous clays in the soil, this vineyard produces fruits of great color and quality.
The PradoRey Crianza is grown in European 100% Caucasian oak barrels for 1 year, and later transferred to 3 months old French oak cones, which helps round this red wine and generates delicate aromas.
Finally it rests 24 months in the bottle before its distribution.
It has a cherry red color with blue shades, bright and with an intense layer.
Its bouquet presents aromas of ripe fruits and sweet touches that stem from its passage through the barrel. It has a mineral and balsamic background.
In the mouth, it is a wine with round tannins, tasty. Its finish is velvety and fruity.
It is ideal to combine with roasts, red meats, game, Iberian and stews.
