This red wine with Desigation of Origin Ribera del Duero is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, from vineyards located a few meters from the Douro River.
The Prios Máximus Reserva is made in Pesquera de Duero, Valladolid, an area well known for producing wines of excellent quality. The Castilian climate of moderate-low rainfall and rigorous winters, together with the altitude of the area, favor the cultivation of the vines and the maturation of the grape.
This typical product of Castilla y León is grown in fine-grained Bordeaux oak barrels for 24 months.
It offers a ruby red color with mauve nuances, bright and alive.
Its bouquet is balsamic and mineral aromas are mixed with hints of fruit jam. Highlights its aromas of berries, roasted and spicy notes.
